It provides precise measurements of an athlete\u2019s\u00a0running time \u2013 from start to the\u00a0 finish line and with accuracy to milliseconds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">How?<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">To work properly the system needs the following component\u2019s:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>RFID tag<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 every athlete is equipped with an RFID tag . Most often the tag is attached directly to the race number. Sometimes a type of band attached to an athletes shoe is also used.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Measuring devices\u00a0<\/b>such as antennas and readers connected to a computer. They are responsible for communication with the RFID tag the athletes equipped with. Measuring devices are placed on the start and finish lines. If necessary, they are also located at measuring points on the route.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">QUICK AND PRECISE RFID SYSTEMS<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A large number of participants at the measuring point is not a challenge for RFID technology.
